“Museums function as halls and palaces of memory, their collections accumulate material knowledge and cultural events that reflect what was and what we are, on their shoulders is the responsibility of preserving this knowledge for an unknown future, and on them is the job of curating and building that memory. What is doomed to become a myth, and what is destined to be forgotten?”

In October 2018, we had the privilege of exhibiting selected objects from the variety of items that have been added to the Holon Design Museum’s collection over the past five years. Among them are international works, local graduate works, and new projects by experienced creators, in a variety of media and design fields.

The item we presented is “Open a Window: Jaffa”, an artistic design item that combines layered work of acrylic glass derivatives with LED lighting and found material, from the joint project with Amir Rava which won an outstanding project award on behalf of Fresh Paint Fair and the Holon Design Museum.
