A light work that simulates a painting of a desert landscape, which softens the artistic discussion, and brings us back historically to the Zionist ideal and its connections to the local landscape and nature.
The piece combines symbols from Yardena Arazi’s personal biography alongside representations from the history of the State of Israel, where the process of building the piece in layers, brings us back to the earthly construction that also took place in the ‘layers’ of geography and society.
